Schoolhouse Supplies is an award-winning nonprofit supporting education in Portland by giving students and teachers free classroom supplies. Not surprisingly, SHS was handpicked by the local newspaper Willamette Week to be included in their annual year end Give!Guide.
To help SHS stand out from the 141 other impactful nonprofits, I wrote, shot, and edited a video campaign using my friends and the nonprofit's very own - how could you not use this? - mascot.
Released through social and on the SHS website, we helped the nonprofit exceed their initial donation goal by 30%. Which means more kids got more school supplies. Which is pretty cool.
